Programs Committee

Our Committees

You don't have to be on our Governing Board in order to be on one of our Committees. Here is a list of committees you can join to assist our organization.

Development Committee

Oversees development and implementation of the Fundraising Plan; identifies and solicits funds from external sources of support. 

​

Committee Activities include:

  • Searches for grants that we should apply for

  • Search for individual donors we should request funds from

  • Assist in fundraising activities such as our annual gala

  • Develop other fundraising activities

Personnel and Compensation Committee (For Board Members only)

  • Contracts for CEO and COO specifying what is expected of them

  • Evaluates the job performances of the CEO and COO (accountability)

  • Advise CEO and COO in personnel matters as needed

  • Recommends appropriate salaries when applicable
